Can British citizenship be affected by a divorce?

Post by JuliaR » Wed Aug 13, 2008 11:08 am

Dear All ,

I have become British citizen in 2001 .
I was married with a Uk born citizen between 1999 and 2006 .
Right now I am living abroad on my initial country.
I have a few questions and I don;t know how to find out the answers.
I have dual citizenship .
1. Is my naturalization affected by the divorce?
2. If my British passport expires do I have to travel in UK in order to renew it?
3. If I deliver a baby in my home country does the new born baby becomes a British citizen ?

Please let me know with whom should I take with questions .
If you have gone through a similiar situation please answer me .
