Tier 2 Dependant Child - Funds Requirement

Hi Guys,

Can someone with firm grip on the current rules guide me please.

1) whether it will be fine for me to take the sponsorship letter from my A rated company to fulfil the maintenance fund needs for my new born daughter's dependant visa. She was born in India last December.

2) Will the application be made as my daughter being the main applicant or is there a different category of visa available for this purpose.
