Apply to UK visa after removal

Hi All,

Would you help me out with the following topic?
10 years ago I was student in the Ukraine and I got UK visa employment type, then I over stayed 2 months in the UK, then I was removed to my country of origin Morocco.
After 10 years I need to apply for a visa for business purposes, but I want to avoid the previous fact.

The question is do I have to declare in the visa application form that I have been removed from the UK or it is not necessarily to declare it.

You MUST declare it, the application form specifically asks if you have previously broken UK immigration laws. If you say no, and your name comes up when they check the records, you can forget about a visa.

The good news is that if your previous offence was 10 or more years ago, it should not count against you, and if you have a good reason for coming to the UK now, you should be able to get a visa.
