Return of Old BRP Card after ILR

Post by ramiri » Tue Mar 31, 2020 11:30 am

Hi All,
In our ILR approval emails (two separate email to myself and my wife as dependant), we were asked to return our old BRP cards:

“If you already hold a BRP from a previous grant of leave, or you were issued with a replacement, you must now return it to the Home Office as it is no longer valid.
The BRP card should be cut in half and posted (in a windowless plain envelope) to Biometric Product Returns, IFB, 5th floor Lunar House, 40 Wellesley Road, Croydon, CR9 2BY. You may have to pay a penalty of up to £1,000 if you fail to return an invalid BRP..”

now I have two questions:
1. The return address is new and different from the one that people return their BRP card after citizenship. Has anyone had similar experience?
2. We have received two separate emails. Is this OK to send both BRP Cards back to HO in one mail?

Thank you for your time.

It is OK. Send both in one envelope to the address given
