Missed police registration in the context of application for ILR

Hi community,

I'm just about to apply for ILR, but realised I have missed to register with the police my visa extension 2 years ago. Now, when police registration appointments are paused due to C-19, I have no other option then to apply for ILR without this record.

Do you think I should apply as it is or should I attach any cover letter explaining my stupidity? Also do you think this could be the reason for the refusal to issue ILR?
