Getting married to an EC National

Post by LaraM » Tue Sep 09, 2008 12:06 pm

Hello

Does it matter what country in the world we get married in? I am British and my partner, Brazillian.

We are considering marrying in Spain, UK, Brazil or even New Zealand.

Does it matter where we marry? As long as we can provide evidence i.e. marriage certificate translated into English.

We ultimately wish to reside in Spain - and apply for the EC National Spouse Visa.

Please help! Any advise and suggestions appreciated.
