Tier 2 to ILR - Shortfall of about 1 month

Post by sxing » Sun Oct 18, 2020 9:16 am

Hi all,

I am currently on Tier 2 General issued on 13th Oct 2017 and valid until 3rd Sep 2022. I've seen multiple sources saying the stay is up to one month after the expiry but in that case I am still in short of about 10 days to qualify for 5-year stay.

Does this mean that I will have to extend my Tier 2 to cover the 10-day gap before I can apply for ILR?

Thank you.
