Child born after parent ilr granted

Post by hamzapasha1 » Wed Oct 21, 2020 4:56 pm

I'm in a similar situation and applying for my child's first British Passport. I was granted ILR before my Baby was born in the UK
When completing the passport application in supporting documents I am being asked to provide birth and marriage certificates for both grandparents which I am unable to provide as the grandparents are not in possession of these documents.
Is it possible to proceed with the application with the documents of the grandparents?
Thanks

Add cover letter. Your baby is British by birth. No need for grand parent’s documents. However, for the online form, you will have to input the grandparents details regardless to proceed, but no documents needed.
