British Citizenship and New rules

Hi,

As we all know that government is planning to introduce new Citizenship rules in Nov 2008, i am wondering how will this effect people holding ILR on the basis of marriage visa? Do they have to apply for other kind of visas or?

What are the chances of implementing new laws for Citizenship in Nov?

As it is only scheduled to be put before Parliament in the Autumn, and changes aren't going to be immediate. The Green Paper talks about implementation 'late in 2009'.
