Confirmation after attending biometrics appointment?

Hi again, lovely folks. I have attended my biometrics appointment last November and they have submitted my files in their computer. I was wondering, that was the last step right? All I have to do now is wait for the decision? I'm just a bit curious because I haven't even gotten an email confirmation saying that my files were indeed submitted. When I went to the UKVCAS site, it says there that my files have been uploaded. In the site or Home Office... I'm not sure as it still gives me the option to upload a file when I click on the links.
