Naturalisation application using expired passport

My Indian passport expired Oct 2020. Do I need to renew that first or can I apply with the expired passport?

I think should be okay. Just make sure you answer the AN questions properly. It asks about valid passport first. Then expired passport. Select accordingly.

Hello! May I ask how you managed your application? I have the same issue, my passport has been expired since July last year and i'm applying now. I am filling up the online form, though i clicked on the option NO for the question ''Can you provide valid passport" and then proceed to click Others so as to provide the reason. However it wont let me get past the option when providing the details of that passport. What did you do in your part?
