Telecommunications jobs in UK

I am a telecmmunication engineer with over 10 years experience in Pakistan in relevant field . Presently I am on HSMP visa in the UK since last 2 months. I have applied for many jobs in UK but I think the employers need some specific skills. It would be of great help for me if some one around giude me as how to get a relevant job here. I have Ist class bachelor's degree(Elecrical,electronics) from UET lahore and I think it is equivalent to UK engineering degree. Is there any additional course here which if done may be futher helpful?

Can you let me know your specific telecom experience and area of expertise? I would suggest to use web based search sites like jobserve etc to look for telecom jobs.

Well my basic experience is in fixed line voice and data telepony. Telephone cable (Copper and OF ) acess network installations,maintenance and operations. Configration and operation of Siemen's EWSD switches for voice and data. Faults management ,billing and customer care syetems. I have also working experience in CDMA BTS operations and installation.
