Spouse Visa - Extension - UK visa, entry clearance or grant of leave?

Post by josephhmccarthy » Wed Jan 13, 2021 7:39 pm

Hi there,

My wife & I are currently in the process of submitting our visa extension, but have come across something that has us a bit confused:

Current Status
What UK visa, entry clearance or grant of leave do you have?
I'm not exactly sure what we're supposed to put here. On my wife's residence permit the only 'type of permit' reads 'leave to enter', and on her initial entry clearance (in passport), it's listed as type: 'partner (standard)'.

Probably overthinking this, but unsure what to answer in this case. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Many thanks,

Joe

You can say D partner STANDARD.
My opinions should not be constituted as an immigration or legal advice.

Thanks for this - really appreciate it! It's been over 2 years since I've had to do anything visa related and I'd completely forgotten about all the panic and confusion that comes with it.
