ILR accommodation

Post by Wallace757 » Wed Jan 27, 2021 3:02 pm

Hi All

I was wondering if you can help as i am unsure if the below documents will do when we go to our appointment. Our situation is me and my wife live with my parents and she pays no rent and we have been living at the same address for 5 years.

We are now applying for her Indefinite leave to remain and while filling in the form one of the question is

Do you own or rent your home? i choose Neither Own nor Rent as that makes more sense is that ok?

We then get asked who provides accommodation and i wrote down we live with my husbands parents

Later on we are then asked Do you currently live with parents, friends or family rent-free? i choose the option yes

the next question is, is the person you are living with renting or property owner? i choose renting as they rent the house

Then it says - Documents i will provide to confirm my current living arrangements:

Proof of property ownership from the owner of the property you live in, such as mortgage statement

Copy of an ID document of the owner of the property you live in, such as passport

Letter signed by the owner of the property you live in stating you have permission to live there

Letter from the person renting the property you live stating you have permission to live there[/b]

Now we will provide a tenancy agreement which has my mum name on it
copy of their passports
a letter from my parents stating that we live there and they are happy for us to stay

I have to mention my mother in law shes 64 years old and we live with her to support her as she need some one to care for her.

is that all I need to provide or there is more?

The list is generic. Provide relevant documents you can collect

ANY evidence is accepted. The list is generic meaning that you should provide the ones you have or is relevant to your circumstances.
