FLR M extension documents question

Dear friends,
I need your information regarding the submission of my supporting documents at Biometric centre at SOPRA STERIA. I have submitted my FLR (M) extension in Nov 2020 and did not receive IDV app invitation so far. Therefore i book appointment for biometric at center and have uploaded all supporting documents on line at SOPRA STERIA website. My question is that Do i must take all my original and copies of documents on day of appointment or it is not compulsory because i have hard copies of some documents and some documents i have uploaded as soft pdf copies. Please share your experience and advice.

There is no IDV app except T4 since 21 Sep 2020. You should have booked an appointment right after you submitted application in Nov 2020. You had 45 working days deadline to submit biometrics after submission date.

Anyways, just attend the biometrics appointment now.

Now you can self-submit your documents to UKVI also.

Self-submission is OPTIONAL. If you want to benefit from the new feature, you must upload and self-submit up to 48hrs before the appointment. If you do NOT want to self-submit, you can upload ANYTIME before the appointment date and submit at the appointment itself. Self-submission is recommended as you may save some processing time - your documents are sent to UKVI even before biometrics in this case. You can self-submit only ONCE. But if you forget to upload any documents, you can always upload later on (after self-submission) and submit at the appointment then (you will not be able to self-submit again but can submit at appointment again).

Carry originals only, no need to print soft copies. Only original passport and appointment confirmation QR code is checked.
