Wife away for 8 months. Any impact on future applications?

Hi,
I am a HSMP Visa holder with Visa valid till Oct 2011

I got married 4 months ago and My wife came along with me with a visa (until same 2011 Oct).


Now she wanted to go to India for 8 months for baby delivery and I will remain in Uk

My ILR application (completing 5 years) is due on July 2009

I wanted to know, Does this 8 months break of my wife will anyway affect my ILR application on July 2009?

and what about her ILR application? Does her 2 year ILR clock will be reset?

Can please anybody throw light on this
