Provide an explanation as to why your application has been submitted so late

Dear All,

Recently I have made my student visa application for another masters degree from different university. On 24th January 2021 I have submitted my application with all documents on UKVCAS website and previous visa was expiring on 30th January 2021.

I don't understand why they are asking to provide explanation for submitting so late whereas I have submitted 6 days before my visa expires.

Yesterday I received email from Home Office as below

We are considering your application and need further information. This information is being requested under paragraph 245AA(b) of the Immigration Rules. Please provide the following within 10 working days of the date of this request:

• Please provide an explanation as to why your application has been submitted so late? We will need this information so that we can continue to process your application.

If we do not receive anything by this deadline we will make a decision on the information we have. No extensions to this deadline will be given. We recommend that you send the requested documents by guaranteed next day delivery to ensure they arrive in time.

Can anyone please help on this.
