Caution from 14 years ago and no mention in PNC

Post by demart28 » Tue Mar 02, 2021 9:58 pm

Hi there,

I wanted to get your view on something with regards to my current British naturalisation application.
14 years ago I was given a simple caution for a domestic dispute (common assault). Since then I didn't have any dealings with the Police. Also, a couple of years ago I requested a subject access to the PNC and received a response stating there is no data held on me on the Police National Computer.
My question is whether I need to declare the caution while applying for the citizenship? I know this caution would probably not cause me too much damage, but I feel like I'm opening a pandora box.
What do you guys think?

You should but as it was over 3 years ago, it has no effect
