Not sure if I'm qualified to apply for a Settled Status

Hi Everyone,

Can I apply for settled status now as I have been living in the UK continuously for over 5years ( I moved to the Uk in Feb 2015 on a tier 4 student Visa) but I only applied and received my pre-settled status in Jan 2020 through my EU Spouse.
The reason for my question is because I am aware under the EU settlement scheme if you have lived in the UK continuously for 5years you qualify for the settled status but I am not sure if that only applies to EU citizens (I'm a Ghanian)or it also applies to family members of EU citizens as well.
Any helpful responses will be really appreciated as I am currently contemplating applying for the settled status

You need to live in the UK as a family member of EU citizen for 5 years to qualify, not just be in the UK on another visa. When did you get married?

If you got married in the UK, you will qualify for settled status on the 5th anniversary of your marriage ie in 2023.
