ILR (T2G) - 10 years long term residency

Hi Experts,

I am currently on T2G visa sponsored by my employer. Before that, I was on T2 ICT visa (Pre 2011) and then switched to T2G.
In May 2022 I will be eligible for ILR on 10 years long term residency route. In Aug 2022, my wife would be eligible for ILR on 10 years long term residency route.

My T2G visa is ending on Sep 2022 and my wife is on the T2G dependent visa.

Question:
1. If I get my ILR in May 2022 then do I need to apply for a family visa/any new dependent visa for my wife?
OR
she can continue on the T2G dependent visa until Aug 2022 and then apply for ILR?

I am trying to save multiple visa application costs for my wife.

She can stay on it as long as you stay in the UK and do not want to travel

But if I move to ILR then will it not invalidate the PBS Dependent Visa? Currently, my wife is on a PBS Dependent visa as I am on T2G visa.

If she continues on the PBS Dependent visa and applies for ILR, will not get refused as her dependent visa is already invalidated?

No. A visa does NOT get invalidated like that (as a side effect). That will be an unfair retrospective effect and the rules are largely are written in a way to avoid this. UKVI may curtail her leave to a shorter period but it is unlikely. Being admitted at the border for entry is a bit trickier so better not to travel
