Visa and iHS fees reimbursement

Hi,

I have completed 4 years and 8 months in the UK and recently I (skilled worker) and my spouse (dependent) renewed our visa which we need only for another 4 months to apply for ILR but we got our application approved with leave to remain for 3 years. we paid IHS and visa cost for three years.

1) By law, are we allowed to live in the UK for another 3 years on skilled worker visa provided our total stay will be 7 years 8 months?

2) is it possible to get reimbursement of excess payment of visa and IHS fees if we get ILR once we complete 5 years?
