Child dependent Visa of a Tier 2 (General)

Post by Nassimcoul » Sat Apr 24, 2021 1:27 pm

Hello,

My child was born in the UK on 27/01/2021 and I would like to apply for her child dependent visa. However, I am still awaiting her passport to be issued. Can I apply without her passport? Do I need to justify that in the application?

In addition to the above, would the below documents be sufficient for her visa?

*Marriage certificate
*Both parents passport + BRP
*Child full UK birth certificate
*Her GP registration form
*Council tax bills + Utility bills ( proof of address)
*Employment letter for the Tier 2 general visa holder
*Bank statement for the period 3 months (maintenance)

Thank you in advance for your help and support

Kind regards,

Mouls

No. The few situations in which someone can apply for permission to stay without a passport are listed in paragraph 34(5)(c) of Part 1 of the immigration rules". It does not include where you are just waiting for a passport to be issued.
