Renew withdrawn CoS or Allocate a new one?

Post by scruffykeith » Mon Jun 28, 2021 1:22 pm

My employer has withdrawn a CoS with incorrect information and now needs to have their 1 allocated position either renewed or increased so that the correct CoS details can be utilized

Can anyone advise what the best approach is? We want to use the priority service to expedite solving this issue... but I dont understand if its wrong to renew the incorrect CoS or apply for a new one?

Can we request an in- year allocation increase and immediately request the priority service? The service cannot be used when a request is in progress or allocated- but when does that happen? Any help would be immensely appreciated

The CoS should be cancelled (withdrawal is cancellation), it cannot be "renewed". The corresponding allocation will be lost

Assuming you are in the UK and if your sponsor has no more undefined CoS allocations they can apply for an allocation increase using the priority service:

If your sponsor has any questions they can ring the employer helpline 0300 123 4699
