3 IMPORTANT Queries regarding Maintenance Fund

I have been maintaining the money equivalent to 2800 GBP in my account for last couple of months . My account is the salaried Savings bank account .

I use this account for all the money transactions ( bill payments ,transfer money to others && rarely receive payments from external funds )

My questions are as follows

1. Should i show the source of income for the maintenance fund ?

( I accumulated the maintence fund money from the previous months salaries that preceds date of maintence period , so should i show the Salary slips for those months ie.months that preceds date of maintenance fund start date )

2.Suppose during this maintence period if i receive any money from any other source , other than my salary , then should provide any proof for that ( for . ex. money that i received from external funds )


(My account balance has been always more than 2800 GBP since start of maintenance period , so whatever money that i receive from external source during the maintenace fund period come on top of this 2800 GBP .)


3. is it mandatory that 3 months maintenance period should start only after the completion of '12 months previous savings period' ?

For ex. My savings period is from 2008 Jan till 2008 Dec .so maintenance period can be started ONLY only from 2009 Jan --2009 March ?

Hi.

1)You don not need to show the source for your maintenance funds. But your account shoud never have a pound less than GBP2800. PLEASE NOTE THAT BHC IS USING RS90/- AS THEIR CONVERSION RATE. THIS RATE KEEPS CHANGING EVERY MONTH> PLEASE CONTACT YOUR VFS AND CHECK BEFORE YOU APPLY>

2) you do not have to show from where the money came as long as it is in your bank account available for you to use.

3) You can show your maintenance funds along the months of your 12months earnings. All they are interested in seeing is that you have had GBP 2800 for 3months before you apply . You should submit your bank statement dated no more than 7days before you make your application.

For eg:

You plan to apply on 1st JAN 2009.

Your maintenance should start from aleast the 25th of september.

Your bank statement showing your funds should be no older than 25th december.
