Post by james_potter » Mon Nov 03, 2008 5:28 pm

hi all

i just had a rejection of my TRA application, im a chef ive worked in Spam since i was 16 (im 31 now) i included certified copies of my NVQs, certified copies of my intermediate food hygiene and letters from my employers and from my direct line manager. Also i included a breif on my previous jobs and i was rejected as they said i needed 900 hours of training behind me (i went to college full time for 2 years i was sure that would be enough) even though ive been working in my present job as a sous chef for 7 years! has anyone else had a problem like this what can i do i really want to get to Australia to be with my girlfriend. Please please help!!!!!!!!!

I thought the 900 hours only applied to people that have studied a 2 year for course for an AQF 3 or higher in a trade area in Australia.
