Ilr application

Post by Mahira1234 » Fri Dec 03, 2021 7:58 pm

I entered Uk in tier 2 skilled worker visa.
Visa starting in brp- 25/12/2016
Entered Uk- 17 th January, 2017
Brp renewed-19/11/2019
Visa expires- 22/01/2022

Am eligible to apply for ilr. But I have been on many leaves so now I am confused if I have exceeded the 180 days absence rule as I don’t understand what rolling basis means while calculating the abesences. My absences outside of Uk are-
29/10/2017-19/11/2017- annual leave, to visit family
11/10/2018-10/11/2018 - annual leave, to visit family
28/12/2018-11/01/2019 - annual leave, to visit family
15/03/2019-17/04/2019 - annual leave, to visit family
26/04/2019/30/04/2019 - leave, to visit family
23/09/2019-30/10/2019 - annual leave, to visit family
26/12/2019-10/01/2020 - annual leave, to visit family
09/10/2020-27/11/2020 - annual leave, to visit family
30/04/2021-27/07/2021- father in icu due to
COVID so had to go back home. 1 month annual leave and2 month unpaid leave. Have got the medical letter from the doctor
06/10/2021-29/10/2021 - annual leave, to visit family

So these are all the leaves I have taken. Will all these leaves affect my ilr
Application?

Thank you

Before 19/11/2019, you can have 180 days in each residence year.
For visa periods after 19/11/2019, you should use the rolling basis: indefinite-leave-to-remain/question-abo ... l#p2031857
