immigration status question pending registration

Post by GeekyPete » Mon Dec 06, 2021 12:39 pm

We have been getting some conflicting opinion on the immigration status for my non-EU spouse, she has a letter to go register at Burgh Quay for a stamp 4 and right to remain in the state but are unable to secure an appointment with her 90 days in the country ending next month.

Some people claim we are fine and it wouldn't be considered overstaying given we have the Department of Justice letter but personally am concerned it will cause issues with registration at Burgh Quay if our appointment is after her 90 days.

We're trying everything possible, third party bots that offer paid appointments, apps and chrome extensions, writing to the complaints department and our TD as well as reaching out for legal representation.

Has anybody been in this situation, having the letter to get your stamp but not finding an appointment before your time in the country is expiring? Did you stay or leave the country, any advice? If you stayed beyond 90 days, did it cause any issues at Burgh Quay when going for the appointment?
