Hi all,
Since my council is not responding -only way to contract them is via email -can some one clrify the the time line of complation of ceremonies is 3 or 6 months

Below link says 6 months due to covid but approval letter says 3 months .

I reckon you can get away with 6 months then. it clearly stated that on their own website (the link you posted).

Just take a screenshot of that page for your future reference. You can also save a cached version on your local PC if you want. in case they change it and you have no proof and all you will get from the HO is shrugged shoulders.

Hopeing so ,problem with local council is we have to reach them via emails for this -not via phone or in-person.I send email 15 -20 working days before still chasing them via email -no repsonse .

This is a service that you paid for and you have every right to chase them in any way possible.

£80 included in the fee that you've paid to the HO goes to the council. So they are legally obligated to respond to you and you can contact them by any means. be it in person, email or phone.

Go there if you have to. as I said, you've paid for this service.

I trired today with multiple departments in council to connect for right team -who can advice -but thy are asking to wait .

Have any one have recenly done citizenship-ceremonies hounslow council ? How do you book and get respond (i have emailed them -only automated response ) i can get private slots -happy to pay ,dont want to take risk to leave for last min ?
