Can supporting documents serve more than one purpose?

Good morning and thank you for your time and knowledge. This forum has been very helpful. What I haven't seen discussed is if a supporting document will automatically be accepted as evidence for all that it provides or if I must organise all documents to satisfy specific requirements. What I am wondering is if we've submitted our mortgage and council tax letters as requested for proof of accomodation expenses, do they automatically count as evidence of our cohabitation or should we submit a separate PDF scan of 6 other pieces of mail addressed to us both? Thank you

Do not send seperate mails as separete PDF files. For instance, assume you have Council tax bills issued for years 2017, 2018,2019, 2020,2021. Combine them as a single PDF and if you would like to use this as Cohabitation proof, in the xplanation box just write : "Cohabitation document: Joint names, From 2017 to 2021 combined". You can repeat the same procedure for others. Don't send them separately. This would be difficult for the case worker

We don't get much mail, so would you suggest that we submit some of those same documents in two of the PDFs? One labeled cohabitation and one labelled accomodation? Would that be a problem?

Shouldn't be problem. No need to overthink. I am sure Caseworkers know their job very well and see all documents at a glance.
