Getting British Passport from abroad

Good afternoon all,
I have recently blessed with a baby boy in Pakistan. My query is about applying for his 1st British passport. I am a naturalized Brish citizen and my wife has been on a spouse visa. Due to personal circumstances, we have been in Pakistan since Dec 2020. Now as I mentioned above we have a son born in February end. I want to apply for his British Passport from Pakistan. Can somebody please address the queries below?

1) How long does it takes to get his passport in Pakistan?

2) My wife has been here with me since Dec 2020, she still has got a visa valid till May 2023. Will she be getting into any trouble if she wants to return to the UK after our son's Passport has been sorted out??

3) What if it does take months to get my son's passport?? Do we have any other option we should look at???

Is there anybody who can help with my queries???? On the UK official website, it says getting the 1st passport can take at least 31 weeks. Is it still the case even when there are no more Covid related restrictions???

From Pakistan it’s takes more than 6 month,I believe there is no problem with your wife future visa.
