Request for Information: where to upload the documents?

Post by mfixman » Wed May 04, 2022 4:27 pm

Applied for ILR Route : SET(O)
Date application sent : 14 April 2022
Application Type: Priority
Date Biometrics Enrolled : 22 April 2022
Document received by HO : 22 April 2022
Additional Document Requested: 25 April 2022 (letter from employer didn't include salary)
Additional Document Sent to HO: 25 April 2022 (new letter from employer)
Approval/Refusal Received : Waiting
BRP Card Received : Waiting

I received a request for a document on the 25th of April, and I uploaded the new document in two different places:
1. As an email reply to the email from the Home Office.
2. As an extra document to the UKVCAS portal.

I received no information about the document being properly uploaded nor anything else about my visa.

The priority visa is supposed to take 5 working days, so I'd expect to received some email by the 3rd of May. Since I received no information, I'm started to suspect I should have uploaded the document somewhere else.

What's the correct place to upload this document?

The UKVCAS online system must NOT be used after your biometrics appointment. You must not upload your documents anywhere unless given very specific instructions. You are mostly asked to respond to the same email with the documents required attached.
Advice is given based on my personal research and experience only. Do NOT contact me via private message for immigration advice
