Hi. I'm a British citizen and my spouse needs to apply for 2nd time to her spouse visa extension around June. My spouse is in the UK.

We are expecting a child around near January. I was wandering do I need to meet income threshold of 22,000 GBP or the child will be exempt from it?

Your child will be exempt as they will be a British citizen at birth and you can apply directly for their British passport.
