Flight to Dublin

For the purpose of calculating presence in UK, and for the purpose of travel entry/exit records, will traveling to Dublin from Manchester count as an exit (i.e is it recorded?). I know exiting Dublin to somewhere else overseas is recorded and shared, but if I stay few days in Dublin ???

For what purpose? Naturalisation or immigration? The answer would be different for both.

I was think more general, but let's say immigration.. Will it be recorded as an exit I’m outside of UK?
