ILR - SET(M) - UK born child

Post by Sneh4578 » Sat Jul 02, 2022 4:20 pm

I am applying for my ILR soon. My spouse is British born and I am American born. My child is 9 months old and British born. She has her British passport.
Do I need to include her in the application as a depandant? Do a need to add her as an applicant? Also does my financial requirement go up from £18,600 to the next to tier?

As the child is already a British citizen, she is not your dependent for immigration purposes.

No, as that requirement factors in non-British citizen dependents only. Your daughter is a British citizen and hence does not count for those calculations.

Thank you. This confirms what I thought.
