Home Office Student visa-Spouse visa

Post by k86 » Tue Dec 02, 2008 10:20 am

Hi guys i am new to this so here goes

My husband and i have been together for 3.5 yrs and got married 6 months ago, prior to starting our relationship he was here on a visitors visa, he has family in london!!

He was in the process of applying for a student visa, which at first was refused then granted, in this time we had started our relationship and after a year i fell pregnant our litle boy is now 19mths.

He attended his first year 2007 at uni and passed with flying colours it was a struggle as i work too so we have no time to spend as a family together!

in august we applied for out spouse visa, and my partner sent in a request to uni to itermit till feb 09, this was we could await the decision whilst spending time together, he was also looking after my child whilst i was working all the hours ready for xmas!!

in november we received a letter saying that the spouse was refused due to false info provided, we didnt put down that he has been caught drving in 2005 with no insurance in the uk, totally forgot about conviction so it was our fault. we then also received a letter from his uni sayin that he couldnt intermit unless he was back in his home country!!

so this is where we are now stuck, my partner will return to uni regardless of whether we have spouse visa or not purely because we paid 8000 last year and we want him to have is honours, we have the money to pay again, however he has now missed a semister at uni and i am not sure what they will advise him to do...we are awaiting replies.

Anyway we are now off to lunar house in croydon next week, to do the day decision with all the right info on the form....

has anyone go any advice or been in same situation?

thanks x
