Dear moderaters,
I don't know if you can help I summit my application on for my first Adult passport on 27th August 2022.
It was sent by special delivery with all supporting documents, one of the us my natralization certificate.

I got a letter today saying that the did not received my natralization certificate with my other supporting items.

I know that Isent it because I took photo copies of it, I rang the passport office and gave them the natralization certificate number and the tracking number of royal mail number as well as the name of the person who signed for the documents.

My question is what will now happen to my application to have a British passport?
Your advice would be greatly appreciate.

As you've sent it by recorded delivery, it's guaranteed that it go there.
There's been a few reports here on the forum about the same.

I think it's just taking the HMPO more time to reconcile their mails. Just reply to them that you've already sent it to them. The whole system is currently overloaded.

Finally, passport got approved 15th October @ 10.55am.

After ring the pass port office numerous time the confirm that they have found my natralization certificate.
Will update the forum when received, thanks moderators!

Passport arrived @ 9.46 am by TNT on 19th October.

Told you it would eventually get sorted. No need to think about a passport again for another 9.5 years. Unless you lose or damage your passport of course.
