Naturalise children

Post by dko » Thu Nov 17, 2022 10:58 pm

Hello there, our family was granted ILR last year in March via the asylum route. Can i apply to naturalise the children or do I have to wait after we have all completed the 1 year. children were born outside the UK but have lived here for more than 10 years. If yes would that be form MN1 for them and AN for husband and I next year. Will be grateful for any information or advice. Thank you

MN1 for children - registration. Children don't need to wait 12 months.
AN for adults - naturalisation.
This is just my opinion as a member of this forum and does not constitute immigration advice.

Thank you for your advice.
Also as part of the application they ask which right they have to register as BC,in this case do I choose the discretionary option as all don't apply now seeing that both parents have not applied for naturalisation yet.

Also do i have to put all the previous times we have made applications because they do ask have you made any applications in the past and each td you say yes,the options keep coming until you can say no.

Thank you for your continued support and taking time to answer our questions.
