Spouse visa Employment History for contractor switching between IR35 inside and outside contracts

Hi,

We am preparing for my wife's extension for spouse visa which is due in July. I am British citizen and working as a Contractor. My wife also work as contractor through same limited company and she is also paid from Limited company and as per her most recent self assessment, she has earning is over £25,000.

From last 5 months I am working Inside IR35, which means I am paid through umbrella and not paid through Limited Company. Due to nature of my contracts, my current contract is ending on couple of months and there is possibility that I might find Outside IR35 contract (through limited company). We are worried about 6 months employment history from same employer rule.

Currently I am paid through Umbrella company and close to our application if I am switched to Outside IR35 contract or if I am unemployed. Can it affect our visa application as we will fail to show 6 month's employment from same source?

I will really appreciate your advice and it will help us to plan out employment history accordingly.
