Dear Team,
We are a family of 3 who are applying for naturalisation. Our entry route was through Tier 2 General for me in October 2015 and Wife & Son in Dec 2015.
We got ILR in Oct 2020 ( for me) and Dec 2020( Wife&Son).
For Naturalisation via the 5 year residency, we submitted all supporting documents and completed Biometrics today. Our qualifying period is 2018-2023.
My Indian passport, which was renewed in 2016, has all stamps of extensive business trips made and between 2016 and 2023. However I realized that for wife and son, we had renewed Indian passports in
Jan 2020.
I had not uploaded the earlier expired passports proving residency between 2018-2020 for them ( there was only trip in Dec 2018 outside UK for them). Getting quite concerned now.
However on reading the AN naturalization booklet for residency requirements, it is quite clearly stated that
'"Examples of documents that can be used to show you have been in the UK for the
required time period, can be found here.
Please note, you do not need to submit documents that have been uploaded as
part of previous immigration applications – we will have a record of these and will
consider them in support of your application"
We had submitted the previous expired passports as part of ILR applications in Oct 2020. Do we need to be worried? Thanks in advance for your guidance
