UK Student Dependent + Graduate Visa

Hello,

Thank you so much for answering my queries on so many occasions. This time I have a few queries for my brother.

He got married last month and planning to come to the UK as a student of Masters degree with his wife.

Three questions:

1) He only got married last month, will that be an issue for the dependents visa? He plans to come in Sept 23 intake.

2) With new restrictions for dependents with students, do they also apply on Graduate visa? My brother will finish his degree in Oct 24, will the new dependent restriction apply on his Graduate visa?

3) His wife has few commitments in Pakistan, so she might be absent from the UK on her dependent student visa for 4-5 months but do plan to join him back. Will that impact her Graduate Dependent visa?

Thanks for the reply, for the other two questions, when the restrictions start next year, do they apply for Graduate visa also?

The government has published a written parliamentary statement and a press release about the proposed changes. They contain all that is know at the moment. There has not been any change to the immigration rules yet, and there is no secret intel.

Rather than wondering if random matters impact on her application, I advise just checking the eligibility to apply as a Graduate dependant. See Appendix Graduate, paragraphs GR 9.1. onwards
