HSMP Extension on Tier1

Hi,

My HSMP visa going to be expire on next month. I got this HSMP on March 2007.
If I apply for extention in Tier 1 General. Does it require to show Maintenance funds. How many days I can stay after expire of my VISA.
Beacuse If its required to show Maintenance funds have to stay another two weeks to complete 3 months period of MF.

Please clarify me these doubts.

Unfortunately, I don't think you can stay in the UK without a valid visa. You will have to submit your application for an extention before the date of your visa expiry, but that leaves you in a quandary regarding your maintenance funds.

I don't know if there's a way around this...
