Can I apply for my spouse's visa extension when my ILR application is awaited?

Recently applied for my ILR after 5 years of Tier 2 visa via standard route.
Appointment on 18th July 2023. As per home office, processing time is 6 months.
Current visa expires on 19th December 2023 same for my spouse on PBS dependent visa who came on 16th December 2022.

Can I apply for my spouse's PBS extension while my ILR is being processed?

Yes however I suggest applying around the visa expiry date rather than now. A straightforward ILR application will not take 6 months
