Using Single Bank Account for Investment and Maintenance Funds - UK Innovator founder Visa

Post by gantamk » Mon Jul 17, 2023 2:11 pm

Hello everyone,

I'm currently preparing my application for a UK Innovator visa. I have a question regarding the financial requirements that I hope some of you may be able to answer.

I understand that for this visa, I need to demonstrate that I have sufficient funds for both investment (to set up my business) and maintenance (to support myself).

My question is: can I use the same bank account to show both investment and maintenance funds? I am considering earmarking separate amounts within the account for each purpose and providing the necessary evidence. Is this a valid approach or should I have separate accounts?

Any advice or experiences you could share would be highly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Best,
MK
