Strange request

I submitted an application flr fp on the 4th of October 2022 and done my biometric on the 11th of October 2022 at the SSC Croydon.I have made several enquiries about the progress and I have got generic respond that it is now taking up to 9 months to process an application.
I got a strange email this morning saying when you made your application you were advised to provide your biometrics in 35days so book an appointment to book your biometric.I suspect it is a generic email.
Has anyone experience such after 9 months of application.I have evidence of submitting my biometric 9 months ago.I remember the DWP made a request to home office to check my eligibility for benefit and they had a positive response.

Most probably a generic email. Would think a portion of the email states if biometrics already submitted you should disregard the email.
