Passport Documents

Post by tts90 » Tue Jul 25, 2023 9:54 pm

Hi all,
when I will request my first passport I won't be able to send my original passport in due to potential work related last minute travels.

I tried to contact the home office and to read the caseworker guidance but I am getting different responses.

The latest I have been told is that I don't need to send my EU passport in (given my last minute work trips) but I need to send all the pages of my passport in color. They said they don't need to be certified and I don't need an employer letter. As you can imagine, other agents said something completely different.

Also, one agent said I need to send in my birth certificate another said no. I was born abroad, after 1983 and I naturalised under the EUSS/ILR route.

Thanks for any advice.

There is known situation of successful passport application using only coloured copies of the non UK passport.
