ILR category skilled worker or Tier 2 general migrant

Post by mat31mat » Tue Oct 03, 2023 12:56 am

Hi all and thanks for accepting me in the forum.I got my ILR recently, my previous visa was issued by NHS under TIER 2 General migrant Or Health care visa.

I'm in the process of filling application for my husband under form SET (O) but confused by the visa category.

It asks Which visa is Mrs xxxxx (myself)applying visa for or been granted?

Probable answer from list of options should either be
A) Tier 2 General or
B) Skilled worker visa

On all my documents including CoS it mentions Tier 2 General however when I checked my own ILR application I selected Skilled worker (not sure why at that time)
Should I go with Tier 2 or Skilled worker, I know the latter replaced the former, then why do they even have the Tier 2 option is beyond me

Any advice would be appreciated and thanks in advance

You may choose either. It has no effect on the ILR
