TIER 2 Dependent Criminal Record Certificate

Hi,
Asking for a family friend. He applied for TIER 2 Dependent Visa (Skilled Worker). He has now received an email to kindly provide criminal record certificate from Turkey- as he had spent time in Turkey before :
"A criminal record certificate from the relevant National authority in Turkey as you have been present there for 12 months or more (whether continuously or in total) in the 10 years before the date of application, and while aged 18"

He has Criminal Record Certificate from Turkey dated 12 October 2016 and he left Turkey in Feb 2017. Now my question is: if we upload that certificate dated 12 October 2016, will it be acceptable ? or does he need to make a new one.

A new certificate is required that covers the entire period of residence or partial residence

Just to give an update and for group members guidance,we supplied the certificate dated 12 October 2016 and visa was approved. There was no need to apply for the new certificate.

You were lucky or had a sloppy caseworker. Please don’t take this as the benchmark for cases going forward.
