I am a naturalised British citizen (Also hold German nationality) and my wife is Vietnamese, currently on a spouse visa. We live in the UK. She is on a work contract, and I am registered as a self employed, although with no activity since July. Since August I am employed in Germany and we are definitely moving in November.
My wife Will get maternity leave by the time we move to Germany. My question is, as I am no longer employed in the UK and we are moving, is there any Risk for her to lose her spouse visa while on maternity leave? And if so, would she still be entitled to SMP? Shall I still keep registered as a self employed, if that makes a difference?
