Schengen Visa for Belgium

Post by iahmad1 » Tue Oct 31, 2023 5:25 pm

Hi all,

I have posted this before last year but topic got locked so reporting but slightly different info.

I have one question of anyone can help:

My family and I are traveling to Belgium in February.
My kids and my passports are all British.
My wife's is not but has biometric residence permit which finishes on 31st Dec 2024 and passport which finishes in 6 or 7 years.

I know she is eligible for a Schengen Visa but on the Belgium VOW (Visa on Web) site; do I tick

"Family member of EU, EEA or CH citizens (spouse, child or dependent ascendant) while exercising his/her right to free movement (only for short stay visa)"

As I am from UK so am not EU but would I still be EEA?

Thanks

British Citizens aren't part of The European Union (EU) nor The European Economic Area ( EEA ). That's why British passports are now stamped at the POE in mainland Europe (EU countries).
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!
