Hello my 2 children were granted citizenship via email on Saturday morning.

I have not received certificates yet.

how long do certificates take to arrive by post?

Difficult to say, especially with postal delays at this time of year. We can’t tell.

If you look in this thread british-citizenship/mn1-registration-ap ... -3425.html you will see it is very variable, some people receive the certificate before the approval email, some never receive the email at all but get the certificate in the post.

It should come soon enough, given the current strain due to the holiday season it may be a bit delayed, so it may take a bit longer than usual.
